Varsity field hockey has had a strong start for the Falcons’ team this year. The team started the season with an early 3-2 record and held a point differential of 12-8. Coach Katie Hackey has been developing the team for many years, and it shows with their chemistry on the field. In a year when many of the PHS sports teams have struggled to find success early in the season, the field hockey team has been a much-needed breath of fresh air. Captain Kate Dacanay says, “We work well as a team. We are very drama free which correlates with how well we work together.” With seven games left in the season, the Falcons look to maintain their success and get ready for a strong run in the playoffs.
