Rachel Tievy is a Senior in the Humanities Program. This is her first year writing for the Poolesville Pulse, and she is excited to write for a newspaper for the first time since fifth grade. She plays soccer for the school and FC Frederick, as well as swimming and being a lifeguard in the summers.
