The Falcons’ golf team continued their streak of dominance with a victory at the MPSSAA District 2 2A/1A Championship on October 3rd with a team score of 333. The 2022 2A/1A State Champions have been a force on the course this year, led by Olivia Cong. Her score of 68 in the district was good for the third-best individual performance at the event, just behind Richard Montgomery’s Cabell Faulkner and Churchill’s Zoe Cusack, who shot 66 and 65 respectively. The team’s other stars on Monday were Kinley Stokes who finished with a score of 85, and Noah Naing who nearly matched with a score of 86. The Falcons’ most recent match was on the Laytonsville Golf Course at 3:00 p.m. on October 10th, where they took on tough opponents in Churchill, Wootton, and Richard Montgomery.
