On Jan 17, 2024 Ariana Grande announced through social media that her new album “Eternal Sunshine” will be released on March 8. This will be her first album in four years, and it’s first single and video, “Yes, And?,” dropped on Jan 19. Grande officially announced the album, which she had been teasing for weeks on social media, on Dec 27. Grande wrote in the caption to a carousel of Instagram photos and videos: “See you next year.” She also tagged her producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, Republic Records and numerous others.
Fans had also received a package from Grande with a photo of her red-tinted lips and red lipstick from her R.E.M. Beauty line with a handwritten note that repeated: “See you next year.”
This was a surprise release because Grande has been known to be filming Wicked for the past two years.
