Q: How do you feel about becoming SGA head?
A: I’m really honored that Mr. Carothers trusts me enough to do this job – it’s a big deal. The position of SGA president entails being the role model for the student government, calling and presiding over meetings, and delegating responsibilities.
Q: Are you planning on adding any new roles into the SGA?
A: I’m thinking of adding a couple of new roles into SGA. One that we already have added is representation for the ISP house in the form of three people from ISP added to Falcon Ambassadors into SGA, none else that I am allowed to talk about.
Q: Do you have any big plans for this year’s SGA?
A: Considering SGA is student-led, I want to continue listening to the students’ interests and what they think would make PHS the best experience.
Q: How are you planning to adapt to your new role as SGA head?
A: I am very lucky that Ms. Hicks had a lot of things in place. She gave me a lot of information to maintain the core things we’ve been doing over the years, so I have a good idea of what’s been happening over the years, not that I couldn’t change it since I have full control as head of SGA.
