Q: What’s your favorite Poolesville spot?
A: I haven’t had a chance to explore much of Poolesville yet, but my favorite spots in the building are the hubs. I think it’s so cool to have open spaces that can be used for a variety of purposes and by all students no matter their house.
Q: What are you looking forward to this school year?
A: I’m looking forward to learning a lot as a new administrator. I’ve also spent the past nine years in middle school, so I have a lot to learn about high school. I’m most excited to see the Class of 2025 walk across the stage!
Q: Why did you choose Poolesville?
A: I chose Poolesville because it’s the most unique school in the County. The rural setting combined with a wide variety of students from across the region and houses that provide specialized learning opportunities, all within a unified school culture, creates an environment filled with opportunities to learn more about ourselves, each other, and the world.

Daphne is truly one of the most intelligent and kind teachers I have ever had the privilege of working with. Great news for POOLESVILLE!
