Wordle: the new “it” game
A new game has taken the internet by storm in the last couple of months. “Wordle,” a game developed by software engineer Josh Wardle, is a word-based game in which players have six chances to guess a five-letter word of the day. The challenging game forces people to expand their vocabulary, and utilize their critical thinking skills. People all around the globe have played and introduced the game to another by posting their scores on social media. The game has become so popular that it has been recently bought by the New York Times, a company famous for its crossword puzzle. The Times plans to keep the game free of cost for now, however that may change as the game is moved over to New York Times Games.
