Ava Checkan is a senior in the Humanities program. Outside of school, she plays club soccer for FC Virginia and she is committed to play for Franklin & Marshall College. She is also a member of The Giving Circle Africa, an organization that facilitates resource distribution and construction to children and adults in Jinja, Uganda.
